If you want to learn, you need to go to school!

A school  is an institution where instructions are given, especially to persons under 14 years of age.

Why is school important?
School is an important place for children to learn lots of important skills. At school you can learn, play, eat Morning tea, eat lunch and make friends.
If you go to a Catholic school, you will learn R.E and R.E stands for Religious Education. Also sometimes the whole school goes to church for Mass.

School have breaks such as morning tea and lunch. This is when you can eat and play with your friends.

Some schools have Kiwisport like Softball, Rugby League, Tennis, squash and Swimming. The reason that they have Kiwisport is to encourage students to exercise and improve their fitness.

If you are hurt, they will take you to the sick bay for a check up.  Then they will ask you “What happenend? “and give you   bandage to put on it to heal. And if you don’t feel better you can go to the sick bay and have a rest. And if you don’t feel better they will call your home or parents to take you to the doctors.

At morning tea and lunch time you can play on the play ground. A playground is a place where you play and have fun. There are a lot of things to play with like a monkey bar which you can swing on it from bar to bar. There are also swings which you go high and low.

Schools usually finishes before 3 o'clock in the afternoon. That is when you can pack up your things and head home. School is really important because we learn lots of important life skills.
