My rugby game against College rifle!

On Saturday morning, I put on my rugby clothes, got in my car and raced all the way to College rifles’ rugby field. When we got there, we had to warm up for the game - we ran around the field two times, stretched our bodies and  did 10 push-ups and played a practise game. Then our game officially started.

We  had to kick the ball towards the other team and one of their players caught it and ran straight towards us. We tackled him with all our might so that he can not run through to get a “try”. The referee whistled and said, “penalty!”  He forgot to release the ball so I smiled because it is going to be our ball now.

The other team passed the ball to us. My team mate tapped the ball and ran as fast as he can to the try line. He scored a “try!”  We all ran up to him and piggy-backed him and said, “Well done!” We all felt very happy!

we arrived there, I had to go to my team so I can warm up for the game. I was feeling excited about our rugby game that day.  I can’t wait to get on the field to play.

Before the start of the game, the referee  hid the whistle and  we had to guess which hand it was in.  The other team got it wrong in guessing so they had to kick the ball to our team. When I caught the ball, I sidestep a lot of people and I got the first try. And when I got the first try the other team was jealous. And the final score was  55 to 5. We won the game. Everybody in our team played well and fair.

We won the game because we had more tries than the other team. When our coach announced who the player of the day was, he said that  it was “ME”!  I felt so happy and so special! Why is it important to have a healthy heart?

The most important part of our body is our heart because without it, we can’t stay alive. The heart pumps and pushes blood around our body. It takes 60 seconds for the blood to circulate around our body then it goes back to the heart again. That’s why t is called Circulatory system.

When you get a heart attack, it means that your heart is not beating properly and you can die from it if you do not get help right away. You should be brought to the hospital very quickly so that you can get medical help from the doctors. Some people suffer from heart attacks because their heart is full of fats and the blood cannot circulate properly. Some people can have heart attacks when they get very scared, or when they have huge problems in life or when their heart is weak because of heart diseases.

When you run very fast and you get tired, your heart beats very, very fast and it pumping blood fast as well. We should look after our body so we can have a healthy heart. Doing some exercises such as playing rugby, futsal, basketball, touch and softball will keep us healthy and strong.

It is very important that we should eat healthy foods like vegetables and fruits and some meat, get plenty of sleep and rest, drink plenty of milk and water so that we can keep our body and heart healthy.
